Test Manager – Leeds/ Remote – 40+ days holiday / 20% pension
A leading institute in Leeds is looking to recruit an experienced hands-off Test Manager who will be leading a test team of 12, as they look to increase their Automation capabilities. This is at an early stage so you will have chance to make a real impact in the way they move forward from a testing perspective.
With experience of leading and managing test teams, you will be able to provide specialist testing expertise to colleagues and projects spanning Functional, Non-Functional, Automation, UAT, Test Environment Management and the End to End management, estimation and testing governance.
As a Test Manager you will have:
- Significant experience of undertaking leadership of a test function in a large or complex organisation including experience of developing and embedding testing strategies in large and complex organisations, in an agile environment and using test automation;
- Effective communication skills, with experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation;
- An ability to manage situations where there are conflicting opinions, and an ability to influence and persuade others apply a pragmatic approach to managing issues and risks;
- An ability to analyse situations or problems and develop reasoned courses of action;
The role will be based onsite in Leeds 50% and 50% remote.
