ServiceNow Mapping Analyst – Nottingham – Inside IR35

Responsibilities:

• Consult with application teams to identify solution requirements to create and maintain Service Maps
• Use Service Mapping in ServiceNow to create and maintain Service Maps
• Configure and maintain Service Mapping Patterns while keeping up to date with latest Patterns released on the ServiceNow store.
• Evangelise and promote the benefits of using Service Mapping
• Provide training to business and application owners on how to make the most out of service maps
• Write technical documentations as well as user friendly guides
• Maintain and improve service mapping engagement process
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to report on service mapping BAU activities.
• Work with the ServiceNow Platform team to resolve issues / introduce enhancements related to Service Mapping

Requirements:

• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator preferred
• Completed Service Mapping Fundamentals preferred
• Experience creating or maintaining Service Maps in ServiceNow
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
• Experience configuring and maintaining Service Mapping Patterns. Equally important is keeping up to date with new Patterns released on the ServiceNow store
• Experience configuring discovery tools and working knowledge of UNIX and/or Windows servers is highly recommended
• A fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network protocols, IP networks, subnetting, and network devices
• Acquaintance with various IT infrastructure technologies (web servers, application servers, load balancers, databases, and virtualization technologies)
• Experience gathering and documenting solution requirements
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
