We are looking for a software developer for a leading high-tech software business in Crewe. Our client is looking for a highly-motivated and capable developer to join the close-knit team. They are open minded in terms of coding language – they will consider people from a PHP, Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript background.

The company are involved in several exciting, multi-million R&D projects around Europe. The role involves working on large-scale, cutting edge projects, revolving around Big Data, Integration, Cloud Services and generic software development. You will also have the opportunity to work with some real state-of-the-art tech, with projects already lined up in Future Internet, Factories of the Future, Internet of Things, Big Data and more.

Requirements

• Hands on experience with any of the following programming languages (Java, PHP, Python, JavaScript or C++)
• Ability to think for yourself, come up with options, ideas and solutions and not just ‘follow the spec’
• You have a portfolio that shows a clear interest in cutting edge technologies
• You like to build practical, useful software
• You don’t mind traveling on an incidental basis, to meet European partners
