Logistics / Transportation Co-ordinator – Remote Working – 100% Work From Home

Our international client are looking for a candidate who has a background in transportation and excellent data driven problem resolution skills. He/she should have the ability to learn and execute a transportation process with ease.

You will need to deliver daily operational tasks, analysing internal reports to develop your execution plans and then executing your plan. This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a high pressure environment.

Responsibilities for an Operations Coordinator (Transportation):

– Coordinate transportation schedules between FCs and 3PL providers.

– Create the scheduled appointments to FCs.

– Book transportation with 3PL providers to deliver to FCs.

– Manages the quality of the transportation deliveries.

– Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in transportation operations.

– Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data

– Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered

– Operations reporting and data compliance check.

– Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed

Required skills

– 3+ years Operational Transportation or Supply Chain experience, preferably in a similar role, within a high-volume logistics, manufacturing or engineering environment

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences

– Fluent written and spoken English

– Excellent customer service skills and commercial understanding

– Ability to drive complex analysis, and making data driven decisions.
