Developer (in test) – Nottingham City Centre (2 minute walk to the train station) – flex working / 4-day working week available!

Developer (in test)required to join a prestigious and growing business based in Nottingham city centre. Although the title is Dev-in-Test, this is very much a programming role, Joining a near 400-strong Software Engineering team, you will work in a 8 person Scrum team made up of a Scrum Master and 7 Devs / Dev-in-Tests. You will be part of a self-organised engineering team to deliver creative automated Testing solutions​.

You will get to work with other awesome software engineers as you forge together as a team empowered to iterate fast and deploy often. The primary language of the software engineers is Java, but that’s just a language and doesn’t make us who we are, so just knowledge of any OO language will help you

What we’re looking for:

• Solid programming skills in your language of choice (not necessarily ours)​
• Familiar with Agile framework
• Work collaboratively across teams
• A desire to learn new techniques and processes

Desirable skills:

• Experience of working within a CICD Test automation environment
• An understanding of Cloud environments e.g. AWS
• Knowledge in one or more of the following: Java, Scala, SQL, Python, Ruby, etc
